I've been with photobox for 11 of their 15 years and have always been satisfied with the quality of my prints and photo creations. Here's just a few of them here:
The best thing EVER though, is the luxurious best ever photobook I have just created. Received delivery of it yesterday (popped to the sorting office as it arrived whilst I was away at #BritMumsLive).
One thing parents always say, is "I am going to make a photobook of each year of his/her life" - we start with the best intentions. Some people even do it. This book, which records Aaron's fifth year is the first one I have done, of this nature. Because I didn't already have the "best of" for each month of pics, which is something I'd recommend you do as the year progresses, it took me many hours of pouring over photos to choose the ones to put in. Many months in my book have 4 pages with 9 pics on each page. Yep it is a thick book! ;-)

My book is 46 pages and yes, it is quite literally bursting at the seams with my favourite pics of Aaron from June 2014 to June 2015.
Starting with Aaron's 4th birthday pics; ending with his 5th birthday "Spiderman" party pics.

I have few canvas prints around my home, and they really make you smile. As bloggers we take phenomenal photos but they so often live in files on our computer or at best in blog posts. Seeing my pics come alive in Aaron's photobook has blown me away - can't wait to show it to Daddy.
They're are all sorts of creative things you can do with your pics though:

Last year, August was tinged with sadness regarding Aaron starting school in September. Now the photobook has made me all nostalgic about that period of time. I love archiving and capturing memories:

ReplyDeleteWow, I had no idea that PhotoBox was 15 years old! They were the first print service I used when I realised just how many photos I had that needed printing - I haven't done a print run in several years now though (blushes) I really am a blogger with tons of photos on a hard drive!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photobook you've created, and what a fab competition. I am confused though, when I look at the website it says PhotoBox was founded in 2000, but everyone else is saying 1999? Their story does seem to begin in 1999 on the website, but I'm not sure whether you want that date or the year it was founded. Anyway it was, apparently, started by Graham Hobson and Mark Chapman (I learnt something new today!!)
