There are spritual people who say that if we focus on polarity and duality we miss the very essence of oneness BUT I have been giving it a lot of thought and doesn't everything have two sides?
Up. Down.
Left. Right.
Sun. Moon.
Male. Female.
Yin. Yang.
A battery doesn't stop being ONE battery just because it has a positive and a negative end.
I think both aspects have to be embraced and the secret of balance is finding the point of balance, harmony... Oneness...
The Mummy Whisperer Lisa Pearson introduced me to the work of Demartini. I only ever read the first couple of chapters back in the Summer but I think he also makes this exact point, if memory serves...
So what do you think? I know in Kundalini Yoga we recognise that we have a negative mind AND a positive mind and that they both have their place.... It is balance that is important...
An urge to ALWAYS be positive can only be met with disappointment...
Don't fight a fight to be as cheery as your neighbour or Facebook friend. You don't know what daemons they're facing. You after all may really be the cheery one...
Anyway I am writing this using a blogger "app" on the train having consumed a pint of Guinness so take it all with a pinch of salt. We had our Guinness with a dash of blackcurrant. As Mary Poppins says, a spoonful of sugar helps the medicine go down
*breaks into song... Gets kicked of train*

I strive to be more positive every day but I agree. It's all about balance.
