Tomorrow

Hi,

When everyone is busy posting their Sticky Fingered tomorrow, I will be at work, as it really will be tomorrow......

Well one thing about Aaron is his ability to keep things present and in the now.

Nappies need changing now, hunger is now, sleep is now.... nothing is ever tomorrow, but before I had Aaron lots of things were tomorrow.....

I would start speaking to my Dad tomorrow, I would start speaking to my SIL again tomorrow, I would start taking driving lessons tomorrow.... etc.....

The to-do list of things I was meant to do on maternity are still on tomorrow's list, but where love is concerned, where relationships are concerned... tomorrow became today.

So as a result, Aaron (and I) have a relationship once again with my Dad and with my SIL, and that is beautiful.  He has opened their hearts and that has opened mine.

Aaron I love you.  And so does your Aunt and your Grandfather xxx

  8. That's lovely! I have a difficult relationship with my SIL as well but it's amazing how babies bring you together and give you some common ground. x

  9. This is lovely and shows just how powerful these little ones are in our lives. My parents were not speaking to me but my announcement of pregnancy changed all that even though I was living in sin in their view. 3 children later we got round to marrying in the end.

  11. I love the fact that babies have the ability to reach out to people and make life better where before 'adults' couldn't.

  14. Children make us realise what really matters in life; not the dust on the shelves or the piles of irnoning, not the quantity of toys or quality of our clothing, but the love and affection that we choose to immerse them, and ourselves in.

    Goon one Liska.
