Green PJs and Green veggies

Yesterday...

... Aaron wore his BABY GAP pjs for the 1st time.  A gift from Angie when he was born.

Thanks Angie :-)

I didn't know that green would suit him and I wouldn't have chosen it myself, but I have to admit it is gorgeous...

Just realised that thanks to this cold snowy weather, we have not left the house in a week....

that trip to Toys R Us and Sainsburys on Friday 26th November was the last time we went anywhere... our snow in London is only a dusting so we are far from snowed in, but why go out in the cold...

thank God we had a Tesco delivery on Tuesday... we can ask hubby to get stuff on his way home from work, but I don't normally....

We had a healthy dinner last night...

... hubby said it was good winter food.

3 cumberland sausages each, lots of veg, and lots of yummy gravy.

In the picture... as you can see... we have cauliflower, parsnips, broccoli, and carrots... I had become a fan of the local market for its cheap veg, but these were from Sainsbury's and I have to admit, they did taste better.... they had survived since that Friday shop last week as they'd been in the fridge... turned to the fridge as I am fed up of throwing veg away and thanks to central heating it never seems to last...

Great Winter veggies...

  1. He is the cutest little guy! He looks lovely in green. I love Baby Gap, I've bought my new baby nephew lots of lovely things from there!

True, we are far from snowed in! I have been enjoying my walks to work in the morning seeing Big Ben dusted with snow, and in the evening through the park where you can see pond frozen....it is quite magical!

Hope you are well and loving being a mum, it sounds like it :) xx

  2. What a cute, cute outfit. Aaron looks so content, I'll bet he is never fussy. Isn't it funny that green would be such a great baby color. Those veggies look really yummy. Our weather is just now turning cold and it's been pots of soup here. Stay warm and cozy and enjoy your new job of being a Mom.
